If you’re reading this, you’ve come a long way. They have realised that they have to change something and need a new reservation programme.
… because times change faster than you think. When we opened our *** business, we bought a “big” PC with a 10 MB hard drive and still had reservation books. The reservation books were then replaced over 10 years ago by an online reservation programme and since 2016 we have been working with Ibelsa. With Ibelsa, they not only have an overview of their reservations at home, but also on the road. Especially as a small family business, this was important for us. In order to keep up with the big hotels, a channel manager (we use MappingMaster) is inevitable to offer the free rooms on the internet. Of course Ibelsa supports this and even has a fast, clear booking tool for the own hotel homepage. Yes, and surprisingly, this costs nothing extra. It is also only charged per room / apartment. The Ibelsa reservation programme can be compared to a piano. It is only the programme, they have to play (and practise) themselves. There is a lot of work ahead of you. Throw everything old overboard and think about what you really need in the future. For example, we only have one price for a double room (with or without terrace,…), because the guests are mainly looking for a free room on the internet. Hardly any of the guests wait until this particular room becomes available. The guest might book because the sun is shining this week and not because he was able to choose from 10 similar room categories (possibly on his mobile phone). Since you as a hotel are allowed to offer the rooms cheaper than the booking platforms, you will have different prices for the same room on your homepage. Depending on the occupancy, we adjust our prices (e.g. for events, Formula 1, …). Ibelsa can do that and much more. Ibelsa is open to feedback and suggestions and it is then great to see how within weeks the programmers have implemented this. As with anything new, the initial phase will be hectic, confusing, self-abandoning, neurotic, desperate… but they will see that they are in good hands with Ibelsa Support. Now they may take the next step.

If Ibelsa had been pointed out to us earlier, we would have used the software much sooner (in terms of data backup, multi-user capability, usable from anywhere thanks to the web application “Cloud”, user-friendliness, connections to interfaces, etc…). The support team is excellent. Problems are solved quickly and competently. It is noticeable that they have an open ear for improvements and practice-related change requests are prioritised and integrated into the system over time. In a nutshell. We had several hotel systems offered and demonstrated to us, as we had previously worked with lists and tables and had no experience with this type of system. The overview and the first impression were already great, the price and the cloud connection were also immediately convincing. I can always access Ibelsa from all my devices, whether at home or on holiday, without having to buy expensive licences. The switch to Ibelsa has not caused any problems for the staff. Our staff had no previous experience with hotel systems. Within about 2 weeks, we could no longer imagine working without Ibelsa. Compared to before, the reduction in workload is really enormous and the capacity utilisation can now be controlled much better. In addition, there is a super service that takes care of our concerns competently, quickly and very nicely. The programme is growing and there are always new updates that further develop the programme in a positive way.

We, as a campsite, have been working with ibelsa since the beginning of 2022. It is really a very nice programme! Everything works perfectly and it has a lot of possibilities. Now all guests can independently see the availabilities of the campsites and overnight accommodations via the homepage and if available, book directly via the homepage – very easy, fast and transparent! What is also very convenient for us is the ibelsa financial module. The module communicates very well with Gastronovi (another software programme, suitable for the cash register). This means that all finances from the campsite and the bar simply go through ibelsa. The tax advisor also has online access, which saves an infinite amount of time on both sides and no more mistakes are made! The set-up was very easy and quick! The ibelsa team helped us very well with various online appointments and everything was very clear and well explained! Even when we had urgent questions during the season, we were always helped very quickly and well! We would recommend all campsites, hotels and restaurants to work with ibelsa! We see the basis of the programme as a well-functioning customer care module that enables us to record all personal and company data and, among other things, to present the guest with a ready-made registration form upon arrival. Reminder functions for open tasks and activities as well as the creation of individual text blocks for offers, invoices and reminders are also part of the basic programme. An interface to the channel management and thus the connection to our sales partners as well as the possibility to create bookings directly and quickly is included.
